If you elect to study the Bachelor of Commerce in a single degree course, you will choose from ten majors (each requiring eight units of focused study) and you will have eight free elective units. You can use these units to further develop your knowledge of your major area should you choose, or gain skills in commerce more broadly with a second major or a minor.
Alternatively, to make up these electives you can select units from across the university in which you are eligible to enrol. You might complete a major or minor from another field, perhaps an additional language, or develop your mathematical and computing skills, or undertake international relations or politics to complement your knowledge of commerce. Or you might choose to study a range of units to broaden your knowledge, experience and enjoyment. This could include an internship, a global experience or an exchange program - the choice is broad and it is yours.
This course sits as part of a larger group of courses. For more information refer to the Commerce group.
Subject to unit choice, this degree is accredited by relevant Australian professional bodies.
