Computer and network engineering and computer science are taught together in this flagship double degree. You'll learn the hardware, architecture and organisation of computer systems and communication networks, and the software used to control them.

You'll develop knowledge, skills and capabilities to design, implement and maintain complex hardware and software systems, and excellent programming skills.

In the years to come, the demand for graduates with both engineering and computer science expertise is expected to be very high.

You’ll gain skills through hands-on experience in our well-equipped laboratories, and real world experience through engineering work experience.

RMIT graduates work in industries including defence, health and science, business, communication and security. They design and build computer-based systems and communication networks, and work with both the hardware and structure of computer systems and the software controlling them.
