    Associate Degree in Aviation (Professional Pilots)

    The RMIT Associate Degree in Aviation (Professional Pilots) provides accredited training to develop the skills and experience needed for you to become a professional pilot.  The course meets the Commercial Pilot Licensing (CPL) requirements of Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). You will develop the necessary skills to also apply for the Recreational Pilots Licence (RPL), the Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL) and the Private Pilot's Licence (PPL). Through elective studies, you may also obtain a Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating or Flight Instructor Rating.You will train at the Point Cook Airfield, a purpose-built, pilot training complex at the former home of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) No 1 Flying Training School.The Point Cook Airfield is ideally situated to access all types of airspace and variable weather conditions. This enables you to develop the confidence and capability to safely fly an aircraft under a variety of operational conditions.

    Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic)

    This course focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Students examine how such disorders affect biomechanics, the nervous system and health in general. There is focus on manual treatments such as spinal adjustments and other joint and soft-tissue manipulation. Anatomy, physiology and pathology courses underpin the clinical science studies of physical examination, differential diagnosis for the chiropractor and clinical practicum. You’ll begin work-integrated learning 1st year with clinical observations in the RMIT Health Sciences Clinic (RHSC). In the final two years, students undertake clinical placement at the RHSC under the supervision of a registered practitioner. You'll also have the opportunity to provide chiropractic care under supervision to people who are socially or financially disadvantaged through RMIT's partnership with Sacred Heart Mission, Hands on Health Australia and The Wellington community centre.

    As an RMIT Biomedical Science student you will learn about the human body and how it functions and responds to various diseases, exercise, diet, internal disturbances and environmental influences.This flexible degree will allow you to develop a broad understanding of human anatomy, physiology and pathology from cellular to systems level.     Students develop creative skills and fashion knowledge to work in the global styling industry. Students work to simulated and real-world industry briefs and learn how to provide an individual or business with creative styling solutions for areas including fashion editorials for print or television advertising campaigns, style artists for music videos and concert performances and provide fashion image consultancy for personalities, models or other public figures.
