    In this course aspiring designers invent, visualise and prototype design solutions to complex problems in the form of new products and services. Students explore the contemporary industrial design landscape and undertake practical learning in design visualisation and communication design thinking; and the material and technological constructs of industrial design. Across all levels of the course students engage in the creative, industry partnered and research-led integration of learning through design studio projects. These experiences culminate in a self-directed design research project in the final year. The course provides considerable scope to engage in real world projects within industry and community organisations and focuses on developing innovative designers to practice in emerging technological, sustainable and social domains of industrial design.

    Students will acquire knowledge across core areas of business, economics and finance, and the capability to apply these skills in order to perform high-level financial and economic analysis in both the public and private sector. The course consists of common core subjects in business, core subjects in economics and finance, and includes flexibility to choose a minor or electives from business or other disciplines such as accounting, international business, social justice, statistics and politics. To simulate trading in money and foreign exchange markets, students have access to the RMIT Trading Facility which uses a live market data feed from Thomson Reuters Eikon.

    Associate Degree in Engineering Technology

    In the Associate Degree in Engineering Technology you'll choose subjects relevant to your engineering major and undertake a real-world project to design, develop, and present a product.All students study common first year subjects. After first year you then choose from one of six majors in the second year. Available majors are Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical and Electronics, Computer and Network and Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics.You will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills to design, install, maintain, analyse and improve a range of devices, systems and infrastructures.This course has a very strong Industry Advisory Committee (IAC), which links the program to industry developments. The IAC is composed of staff from local engineering organisations. It provides regular feedback on the program and the changing needs of industry.

    Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Chinese Medicine)

    You'll gain the knowledge and skills for Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture practice with an emphasis on integrated clinical care through an evidence based approach. Graduates will be able to practise Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture at an internationally accepted level. Studies begin with the basics of cell biology and Chinese medicine principles. Anatomy, physiology, immunology and pathology follow, so you understand the body's normal and abnormal states. You will be able to accurately locate needle acupuncture points and learn herbal medicine formulations and understand the different clinical conditions that acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine can treat.
